Sorry😳

Okay, I'm really sorry I left for the summer and didn't tell you. I just forgot, okay? And James didn't tell you either, did he? I think he went to China like me, just a different place. I was in Shanghai and visited Yangzhou and Xi'an. I think he went to Hong Kong or something, where my old friend is. He moved away a while ago.

I don't think James is going to write an apology blog, though. That's just not like him.

I went to China, and the least I can do is tell you about it.

First, I stayed at Shanghai for a few weeks. For three weeks, Monday-Friday, 9:00-12:00, I had a music theory class. My little brother had a summer camp that was fun, fun, and fun. No work. Unlike me. And as soon as he got home, three weeks of watching TV, playing games, and watching videos.

While I was doing mock tests.

Then, we went to Yangzhou to see my grandma and grandpa. By that time, my mom was already in China. She was traveling around the USA for a while before she came to Shanghai. After Yangzhou, I came home first because I had a swimming class three times a week.

And no, I don't completely know how to swim yet.

Oh, and did I forget to mention?

I also had a piano class twice a week.

And my little brother had nothing.

Yeah. I don't envy him at all.

Anyways, after that, I stayed at Shanghai for two days before going to Xi'an. My mom, dad, and little brother came back to Shanghai on Friday, and we left for Xi'an on Saturday.

I regretted going as soon as we arrived. Yes, the hotel and food and stuff was all nice, but SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY MY MOM, DAD, TOUR GUIDE, AND I HAD TO WALK FIVE FRICKIN' MILES WHILE MY DAD CARRIED MY LITTLE BROTHER A FRICKIN' 2.5 OF THOSE FIVE MILES.

Okay, I may have gone overboard.

Those five miles were to see the Terracotta Army. I honestly don't see what's so interesting about a bunch of clay people. We also went to see a tower. The name sounds nice in Chinese, but in English, it's translated to the "Wild Goose Tower". And you know what's worse?

There aren't even any geese.

Anyways, that's about it, so bye.

What you wrote is so interesting! Can you tell me more about the Terracotta Army? I only learnt those on history book. I would love to see by myself one day!

Well, for one, there are three pits, and Pit 1 is the biggest. What I find interesting is that the shortest soldier is taller than my dad.
